Jason Sangha | Career Summary
Jason graduated from UBC in 2001 with a degree in Mining & Mineral Processing, with a focus on mining. He started working for Teck right away, joining Highland Valley Copper (HVC) in central British Columbia as an EIT.
Jason stayed at HVC for 13 years, taking on various technical and operating roles but with most of his time spent in the strategic development options for this asset. He joined Teck’s central Base Metals team in 2015, looking after asset development and business planning across Teck’s base metals portfolio, and after a recent stint back at HVC as General Manager, is currently Vice President, Planning & Strategy, Base Metals.
